Receipt OCR workflow
You can upload receipt photos and the AI extracts vendor, date, total, and taxes to speed up expense registration.
Go to Expenses → Scan Receipt to start and review the extracted fields before saving.
OCR quotas and extra credits
OCR monthly quotas depend on your plan: Starter 50, Growth 250, Pro 1,000, and Accountant 5,000 scans/month.
If you consume your monthly quota, you can buy extra credits. Extra credits do not expire and are only used after the monthly quota is depleted.
Reliability and review standards
AI extraction is designed to speed up data entry, not replace accounting review. Always validate vendor, date, total, and VAT before posting.
Image quality matters: blurry, rotated, or heavily cropped documents can lower confidence and extraction quality.
Cost control best practices
Use OCR for receipts that truly need extraction, and avoid repeated scans of the same document.
Keep images clean and focused on the receipt area so the model uses fewer tokens and provides more stable results.
