Low Stock Alerts and Reordering
Set up minimum stock thresholds, receive automatic alerts, and manage your reorder requests from the dashboard.
Configuring a threshold per product
In each product detail page you can define the minimum stock (alert threshold). When the available stock falls below that number, Kontafico automatically triggers the alert.
You can configure different thresholds per warehouse if you operate multiple storage locations.
Dashboard widget
The main dashboard includes a "Low stock" widget that shows products that have reached or exceeded their minimum threshold. The widget updates in real time with each inventory movement.
From the widget you can navigate directly to the product detail or to the low stock page to take action.
Low stock page
The Inventory → Low stock page lists all products below threshold, sorted by urgency. It includes the current stock, the configured minimum, the associated supplier, and the average replenishment time.
Recommended reorder workflow
When you identify low-stock products, you can initiate a purchase order directly from the alerts page. Kontafico pre-fills the supplier and suggested quantity based on purchase history.
Once merchandise is received through the Received Invoices module, stock is automatically incremented.
