Categories and Price Lists

Creating product categories

Categories let you organize your product catalog into logical groups. Go to Inventory → Categories and create as many categories as your business needs.

You can nest categories into subcategories for more complex structures, for example: Clothing → Shirts → Formal Shirts.

Assigning color and icon

Each category can store a color and icon to organize the catalog.

In the POS, categories appear as filters and use their configured color. The icon is not displayed on that screen in the current flow.

Price lists (wholesale, VIP, public)

You can create multiple price lists for the same product. For example, a public retail list, a wholesale list, and a VIP list for special customers.

Each list stores fixed prices per product. The current flow does not automatically apply one percentage discount to the entire list.

Assigning a price list to a POS terminal

In each POS terminal settings you can define which price list applies. This way, Register 1 can sell at public price while the Wholesale Register applies the discount list.

To change the list used by a register, update the terminal configuration and verify the price before charging.
